The Rosemann Tenant building has been designated as a registered historic structure in Kansas City’s Crossroads Art District. The project was the first Historic Renovation in Kansas City designed to meet Leadership for Environmental Excellence in Design (LEED) Silver level certification.

The building is Kansas City’s only historic structure with a 75% green roof, consisting of:

  • Grass lawn covering
  • Plants
  • Shrubbery

Other environmentally friendly features include:

  • The use of low emissive paints
  • Low emissive sealants
  • Low emissive adhesives
  • Installation of a low pollution HVAC system
  • Reduced energy and water consumption
